Twice a year it's wheel change time. Winter is not far off so it was time to change the wheels to the winter set. Here is the recording of that wheel change process happening at the local mechanic's garage.

The car is first lifted with a pneumatic lift which brings the wheels to an optimal height for the mechanics to work on. They then set about loosening the bolts with an impact wrench, and to change the wheels.

There are some great pneumatic gun sounds that would work great as sound effects. There is also one very happy worker whistling away as he works.

I have included recordings from a separate occasion at a different mechanic. The majority of these recordings feature background radio station noise - so adverts and songs etc. These background sounds are mostly inaudible, at least to my ear. I add them as bonus tracks. Use these bonus recordings in your projects at your own copyright risk!
