The lake Tisza is a huge manmade lake and swamp in Hungary, located at the southeastern edge of Heves county, next to counties Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Hajdú-Bihar and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok. It is teeming with life and supports a great variety of birds, fish, reptiles, and humans!

I recorded these files in two sessions (May 2022 & May 2023) at a busy time of the year for tourism. There is quite a lot of human activity mixed with the sounds of spring and the natural world of the Tiszató. There is so much wildlife there it made me wonder what do the creatures make of our presence??? They have to get on with their lives, and they do. It is interesting to listen to them survive through our interference.
